Route 66 Round-Up: Our Mid-Year Milestones

As we move into the second half of 2025, Cross Eyed Cow continues to make waves, serving up not just fantastic food but also meaningful community engagement! Let’s take a moment to highlight some key events from this year.

Roy, the son of Jim and Donna, wowed the audience at the High Desert Ignite with his deep passion for farming and his commitment to uplifting the community—values he shares with many others. He has transformed two 5-acre plots into thriving farmland, and we’re incredibly thankful for the community’s steadfast support as he plants his roots in his hometown. His goal is to provide fresh, local ingredients and craft seasonal recipes for the restaurant.

We had an absolute blast at our annual Oro Grande Roundup on April 12th! A huge thank you to all the participants in the car show—we awarded six trophies, though honestly, we wished we could have handed out awards to every vehicle! The streets were buzzing with local vendors offering handmade baked goods, soaps, jewelry, and much more. The cowboys truly stole the show with their outstanding performances, while the Daring Dames of Burlesque lit up the crowd, inspiring everyone to hit the dance floor! With a DJ spinning tunes all day, mechanical bull rides, face painting, games, and mouthwatering food, the event was capped off by an exhilarating performance from The Holy Crow. It was an unforgettable day, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

LIVE MUSIC continues in FALL 2025.

Our entertainment season kicked off with live local bands and musicians gracing the stage every Saturday from March to May 31st. We’re grateful to all the talented artists who took part in this wonderful experience. Notable returning acts included The Groove Hunters, Theory of Phunk, and the Skyline Bridge Band. We also welcomed new faces like Hollow Moon, The Educators, and The Band HUGE to our lineup. We’re excited to announce that our music season will pick back up in September, bringing even more thrilling performances your way!
