At Cross Eyed Cow Pizza, we believe in the power of real food and community. As a family-owned restaurant, every ingredient, every recipe, and every decision is made with care. We are excited to take our commitment to the next level with the launch of our farm-to-table initiative.
Leading this movement is Roy Granger, the youngest son of owners Jim and Donna. Roy has stepped into the kitchen full-time, sharing his time between working the soil at his two thriving farms, running his non-profit Seeds of Succession, and teaching agriculture seminars in the High Desert. He is furthering his education in regenerative farming practices and sustainable food systems. To say he is passionate would be an understatement—he is on a mission.
What makes our farm-to-table initiative unique is the freshness of our produce. The same day it is harvested, it comes straight to our kitchen. Roy brings in farm-fresh eggs for our homemade meatballs, vibrant seasonal greens for soups, pestos, salads, and crisp produce that enhances everything from our subs to our specials.
We have always enjoyed feeding our community, but there is something truly special about saying, “This was grown right here, with care, by one of our own.” Our dishes are being reimagined through the lens of the land—seasonal, fresh, local, and full of life. We couldn’t have achieved this without your support and are excited to share this journey with you.
And this is just the beginning. Roy is experimenting with new seasonal recipes and ingredients to elevate our menu. From flavorful farm-grown herbs to desert-hardy vegetables, he is finding ways to honor tradition and innovation, one plate at a time. Stay tuned—there is so much more to come.
We look forward to growing with you and serving food that nourishes both body and soul.
From our family to yours,
—The Cross Eyed Cow
