Pizza Artist Spotlight

Being open 11 years as a family owned and operated local pizza restaurant is a feat in itself to be celebrated. We are grateful for all of the support we have had throughout the years from our community and of course our team. We intend to take every opportunity to show our love and appreciation for our crew! Without them, we wouldn’t be able to serve the best pizza in the high desert! 

Thus creating our “PIZZA ARTIST SPOTLIGHT”


After much thought and consideration we agreed that the perfect candidate to start this series is the one and only, Michael. Michael just celebrated working with us for two years and has consistently stepped up been an invaluable addition to our “Cow” family. He brings a sort of je ne sais quoi, his charm and charisma is magnetic.  His positive attitude and sense of humor brings a bright aura to our kitchen. 

He will be competing at the international dough tossing competition at the 2024 Pizza Expo in Las Vegas, representing Cross Eyed Cow and the High Desert. We have a video showing a preview of his skills on our YouTube. Make sure to check it out and if you see him tossing pies make sure to say hello.

“Cheese bread”

If you were going to name a pizza after yourself, what would you call? 

“The Hero”

What is your favorite flavor for the hot wings? 

“Mango habanero”

If you were trying to describe “The Cow” to somebody who’s never been there, how would you describe it?

“It’s on Route 66 and there’s a big cow on the roof.”

What is something that makes you look forward to coming into work? 

“Tossing the dough and seeing smiles”

What do you love most about your job? 

“Tossing the dough and the employees”
